MALABAR WORKSHOP
Laia Sales and Mari Marcos are the founding members of “Decopivolta Theatre Company” since 2011.
They are formed as an actress in Barcelona, at the “International School of Theatre BertyTobías”. Both were involved in Lecoq method.
Laia is formed as a contemporary dancer specializing herself in Sport Dance during more than 10 years. As a juggler, she’s specialized in Contact ball and stilts dance. She is interested on combining her knowledge of circus skills with theatre. Mary is specializing herself as a clown.
They were formed with artists such as Michael Doofy (artistic director of Cirque du Soleil), Cristian Athanassious (international famous clown), Stephane Boko (choreographer of Cirque du Soleil)….among others.
In addition, they have been trained by professionals such as Christophe Thellier and Fanny Giraud (clown school where they give importance to the feelings and emotions of the actors); by Élise Buffet Ouvrier (physical humour, search for comedy from body work) and finally, by Pau Bachero, (physical theatre, musicality of the movements and rhythm in the scene).
Among their works it is worth mentioning, “Doblecita”, that won the first award at the VI Internacional Clown Festival of Xirivella in 2011. They won a special mention in “XI Circuito Café Teatro de Valencia”. On second place, “Entretingudes” (performed for the first time at the 23rd Mostra de Mim de Sueca) and in third place, “TULIPAS” show on tour (3rd prize of the judges and prize for best actress at Festival Noctívagos).
Laia and Mary are habitual collaborators guest of Gençana. In this occasion, Laia will help us to reinforce the work of manipulation of different malabar elements. It will give us advices to improve the skill and to discover new possibilities.
Students from the 4th course of primary will enjoy in this workshop as a complementary activity of the didactic unit “Physical activities with implements I”.
PATRIMONIO INDUSTRIAL VALENCIANO
En España el patrimonio industrial no había sido reconocido por la ley de Patrimonio Histórico Español de manera explícita. No fue hasta el año 2001 cuando se puso en marcha el Plan Nacional de Patrimonio Industrial que definió el Patrimonio Industrial como el conjunto de elementos de explotación industrial, generado por actividades económicas de cada sociedad. Agrupó a los referentes en tres categorías: elementos aislados, conjuntos industriales y paisajes industriales. Y apuntó como un aspecto negativo la absoluta desprotección legal en la que se encontraba. Por ello abogaba por declarar bienes de interés cultural (BIC) aquellos que pasaran a formar parte de él.
Tras haber trabajado en clase la Revolución Industrial, queremos ahondar en el estudio e impacto que la industrialización ha generado en la ciudad de Valencia, así como en la configuración de los nuevos espacios dentro de ésta. En este recorrido mostraremos y pondremos en valor el rico y variado patrimonio de la ciudad de Valencia. Podremos ver cómo algunos de estos edificios siguen abandonados a la espera de rehabilitación y otros se han convertido en nuevos espacios para diferentes usos, bastante alejados del uso que un día tuvieron.
Durante la ruta, visitaremos diferentes barrios de la ciudad. En primer lugar, nos desplazaremos hasta el barrio portuario de Valencia, El Grao, donde visitaremos las Reales Atarazanas, la antigua estación ferroviaria, los Tinglados, la antigua grúa y el edificio del Reloj. De allí nos iremos hasta los barrios de Marxalenes y Benicalap, donde podremos visitar el edificio de Bombas Gens, la antigua aceitera, la antigua estación ferroviaria y el edificio de la Ceramo.

Bioparc València és un parc zoològic de nova generació que s’ha creat basant-se en el concepte de zoo-immersió per tal de submergir totalment el visitant en els hàbitats salvatges.
Bioparc València està compromès amb la conservació dels animals, així com l’educació i la conscienciació sobre la necessitat de preservar els seus ecosistemes d’origen.
El parc participa en desenes de programes de reproducció en captivitat d’espècies en perill d’extinció i al mateix temps, ofereix una àmplia oferta didàctica.
Però més enllà de l’ètica i la conservació, Bioparc València és un món màgic, que ofereix experiències emocionants en cada racó del parc i a cada minut de la visita; un món per a aventurar-s’hi i descobrir els animals salvatges i els seus hàbitats.
Bioparc València és un projecte estudiat a llarg termini en el qual intervenen professionals de molts camps diferents.
Bioparc València és un projecte concebut per Rain Forest Diseño S.L, una empresa espanyola que, des de 1995, es dedica exclusivament al disseny, desenvolupament i gestió de parcs zoològics de nova generació.
L’equip de Rain Forest Diseño S.L està format per professionals de diversos camps (arquitectura, enginyeria, belles arts, veterinària, biologia,…) i són pioners en la seua labor, vist que incorporen les més modernes tècniques de creació i gestió de centres zoològics, recomanades pels organismes internacionals de major prestigi com l’Associació Europea de Zoos i Aquaris (EAZA).
Estos professionals treballen per a dotar a Bioparc València de tres pilars bàsics que garantisquen el benestar dels animals a l’interior de les instal•lacions.

– Una concepció paisatgística natural.
