PLAYING HANDBALL
The Handball Club Mislata was founded in 2005 and it has become a benchmark of Handball in the Valencian Community, and nowadays the club has teams in all categories (from an early age to senior category).
It is worth highlighting in the specific history of the Club, the most recent achievements of its base that include the second place in the Autonomic championship and the ninth best team in Spain in the Children’ category in the 2014-2015 season. In addition, it should be noted the fourth place in the Autonomic Championship in Youth and Junior categories during the last season 2015-2016. Furthermore, for the current calls for the Championship of Spain, they have contributed with 7-9 players in the categories of Children, Youth and Juniors to play in the Valencian selection. Finally, their team Senior A dispute for the first time in the league of First National.
They also emphasize its collaboration with the Townhall of Mislata as a “childhood friend city» by UNICEF, through its own project called, Handball Street.
In the Masterclass which will take place on 15th of November, The Club will give a presentation on the theoretical foundations and basic rules of handball. In addition, he will describe the major leagues and tournaments in which the Club participates. Finally, a practical session will be conducted in order to work with newly learned skills in a playful way.
In this practice, specific warming exercises from Handball will be realized and this day will conclude with a small mini tournament in which the basic rules will be explain.

En aquesta visita a la Sala L’Horta el alumnes gaudiran d’un espectacle familiar en valencià. Iaios és un espectacle infantil en el qual mitjançant els jocs dels seus protagonistes, s’hi va teixint la història dels avantpassats de Vorín i Xavi i el naixement d’una família.
Perquè… conéixer el passat ajuda a entendre el present.

DESCOBRINT L'ARRÒS
L’Ajuntament de València, amb la col·laboració de la Universitat Politècnica de València, ha rehabilitat l’antic molí de Serra per convertir-ho en el Museu de l’Arròs de la Ciutat de València. L’objectiu de l’actuació ha estat recuperar per a la memòria col·lectiva el procés d’industrialització de l’arròs, el cultiu del qual té profundes arrels en els aiguamolls de la Ciutat.
Gràcies a l’excel·lent treball de restauració de la maquinària, ha estat possible recuperar tot el procés perquè el visitant comprengui el seu funcionament i ho pugui comparar amb el de les instal·lacions modernes.

SKIPPING ROPE WORKSHOP
The club of Cheste was born in 2006 as a Municipal sports school of skipping rope. In 2013 due to the growth that was experiencing the school both in number of vaulters as well as in sporting level of its members they were forced to go one step further and create the Skipping Rope’s Club of Cheste. The creation of the Club has allowed them to participate in official competitions, have international recognition and become a national reference.
The Skipping Rope’s Club of Cheste currently consists of 80 vaulters from Cheste, Godelleta and Chiva.
Regarding its track record, it should be highlight that they were proclaimed world champions in different categories in 2016; in 2011 were champions Spain; in 2012 they were presented to the TV program called Tú si que vales and in 2013 were ranked 3rd in the choreography competition Batidos Puleva.
In this masterclass, students in sixth grade of Primary school will learn on the one hand, new skills and tricks with the skipping rope of different sizes and materials and on the other hand, will enjoy a small demonstration by the invited athletes.

TODOS SUS PATITOS
Espectáculo basado en el texto de los autores Christian Duda y Julia Friese y publicado por la Editorial Lóguez.
Se trata de una de esas historias donde dos especies enemigas acaban sobreponiéndose a sus diferencias. Pero Todos sus Patitos va mucho más allá. Los personajes tienen profundidad, cometen errores, toman decisiones. Porque quizá, Todos sus Patitos habla en realidad de relaciones humanas, de la necesidad de estar cerca de otros. Habla del ciclo de la vida, desde el nacimiento hasta la muerte, pasando por el aprendizaje, el amor, la paternidad… Hay muchas razones para que Konrad no se coma a Lorenz.
Un hermoso cuento que se desarrolla en un bosque lleno de cacharros; donde todos están juntos: público y actores. Hay teatro de sombras y también luces: la de la luna, la del agua del lago, la de los patitos… Y hay sonidos en directo de agua, de tierra, de seres vivos… Y están Konrad, Lorenz y Emma, los tres protagonistas de nuestra pequeña historia.
Todos sus patitos es un espectáculo para niños a partir de 4 años que habla de relaciones humanas, de la necesidad de estar cerca de otros. Habla del ciclo de la vida desde el nacimiento hasta la muerte, pasando por el aprendizaje, el amor, los celos…

HABRÁ UN SILENCIO VERDE…
Leonardo Gómez (Valencia, 1965), estudió Bellas Artes, licenciándose en las especialidades de Escultura y Pintura en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de San Carlos (Valencia). Desde 1989 forma equipo artístico con Susana Rodríguez Fernández, junto a la cual ha participado en más de 30 exposiciones. También ha dibujado numerosas ilustraciones para libros y revistas, ha hecho fallas poco convencionales, y ha escrito un par de libros para niños, traducidos a varios idiomas, e ilustrados por Susana Rodríguez. Doctor en Bellas Artes por la UPV, es autor del ensayo El humor en el arte contemporáneo. Teoría y práctica, es miembro del grupo de investigación LCI (Laboratorio de Creaciones Intermedia), y en la actualidad desarrolla su labor docente en el Departamento de Escultura de la Facultad de BBAA de San Carlos (UPV).
La conferencia, que lleva por título «Habrá un silencio verde y otros varios sinsentidos» introducirá y hablará del tema del monográfico del XXVIII Carnaval Literario de Gençana («Los cinco sentidos y algún sinsentido»), siempre desde el punto de vista de la historia del arte.
