Katakrak is a street arts company dedicated to the creation of games with recovered materials. They transform the spaces where they set up their games in recreational spaces so that they can play audiences of all ages.

From the beginning, what has allowed them to concretize their work has been to keep these three concepts in mind: game, creativity and recycling. That is to say: Make ingenios with original challenges to reach (game), that they invent (creativity), with recovered materials (recycling) and for all the publics.

In his creative process his imaginary of objects intervenes, the knowledge of all kinds of techniques and the will and passion for his work.

In “L’Animalada” the work has focused on finding the correspondences between the forms of objects and animal forms as well as between the functions of animals and the possible game dynamics. Can you imagine giving cherries to a crocodile? Have you ever helped an elephant to water flowers with its trunk? We play?

On the occasion of the celebration of the international day of the game, Gençana Education Center in collaboration with the AMPA Jacaranda has invited Katakrak company to install their games “L’Animalada” at the garden. We’ll play with our senses, with our hands, feet and sight.
