Trees don’t stop growing until they die and each year they are larger in height and thickness. This does not happen with palm trees because they are not trees but giant herbs that only grow thick when they are young.

In this workshop, we will learn how trees grow, the differences between monocotilédonea (like palms) and dicotilédoneas (like oaks), how to count the growth rings and recognize what happens to a tree through its trunk.

As a practice, the technique called Nendo-Dango will be carried out, which consists of making clay balls with seeds of Mediterranean plants that are ready to reforest. These balls can be thrown into the forest or planted each in your home or school.
