Jorge Picó was born in Valencia April 17th 1968. He is graduated in English Filology by the Universitat de Valencia, graduated by L’Ecole Internationale of theatre Jaques Lecoq and graduated as well in Performing Arts by the E.S.A.D in Valencia. After that he moved to París where he had the oportunity to study with JAQUES LECOQ and work with PHILIPPE GENTY.

At his return to Spain he founded the theatre company RING DE TEATRO, creating and putting on their own shows. He has been a teacher in the ESAD of Valencia as well as the artistic director of the TEATRE PRINCIPAL in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona).

He has an extensive and consolidated carrer as an stage actor, theatre director, playwright and teaching theater and body language. On the other hand he has published some theatre books such a “Enciéndeme” or “Non solum” in colaboration with Sergi López. Finally we can mention that Jorge won numerous awards as theatre director, theatre actor and playwriter.

Students from 4th course of primary will enjoy in this workshop as a complementary activity in relationship with Gianni Rodari, Fantasy and Body Language.
