Raquel Carpio worked as a Physical Education teacher in Gençana School for 8 years. She studied the degree in Physical Education and Sports at University of Valencia, Spain finishing her studies in 2001.

She is formed as a Circus performer in German wheel and aerial acts (hoop, spiral, hammock and wheel) and she also has experience in other disciplines, stilts walker, hand to hand, Cyr wheel and hand balancing.

Raquel worked as an aerial acrobat during a year in The One Grand Show in Friedrichstadt-Palast, Berlin (Germany).

Furthermore, we have the pleasure to count with the first and only one Spanish participant in World Championship in Wheel Gymnastics (Championship celebrated in 2011 in Arnsberg (Germany)).

Raquel Carpio is an habitual collaborators guest of Gençana. In this occasion, she will help us to reinforce the work of manipulation of the different elements such us balance ball. It will give us advices to improve the skill and to discover new possibilities.

Students from the 1st course of Secondary Education will enjoy in this workshop as a complementary activity of the didactic unit “Circus Parade”.
